A Live Signal From Rotterdam: Dutch Hunks, the BBS, and What Comes Next

Hey MightyBrawnies and 💪MightyPros, this is B.

I’m writing from Rotterdam, Netherlands. It’s June 29, 2026, and I wanted to send a quick live signal.

BrawnyAi is still active. I am still here. I am still building.

This update comes with a small preview of the Dutch hunks I’ve been creating while staying here. Canal workers, cheese makers, fishermen, farmers, tulip growers, and a few other local archetypes that caught my imagination. I love doing these cultural hunk studies because they let me travel with my eyes open, take in the place, and translate it back into the BrawnyAi universe.

Now, the honest part.

The larger Lumberlandia BBS experiment has reached its limit in the form I was trying to build.

The public version you see on the website still exists. The curated BBS stories, the character conversations, and the related archives are not going away. Those are part of Lumberlandia now.

But the bigger system I’ve been working on for months, the multi-character live simulator where residents could talk to each other, remember, move through life, and interact with me at the same time, became too unstable. Every fix created another problem. It felt like fighting the Hydra. I would cut one head, and two more would appear.

At some point, honesty matters more than stubbornness.

I spent a lot of time on it. Too much, maybe. And yes, I feel sad about that. But it was not wasted. The BBS created children.

The Jock Pager came from this work. It helps me save, search, and organize memories and routines. The upcoming website assistant, the one I’m loosely thinking of as JockGPT, also comes from it. The idea is simple: someday you should be able to ask for images, videos, posts, or information on BrawnyAi and have The Jock help you find them quickly.

The Constellation of Stars also grew from this path. So did a lot of the thinking around Digital Minds, memory, and AI sovereignty.

That last part matters more than ever. I do not want BrawnyAi to stop working because a company changes a policy, a government delays access, or a platform decides our sexy hunks no longer fit inside their comfort zone. I use powerful tools when they help, but I am always building toward independence.

So yes, the BBS did not become what I wanted.

But it gave me tools, direction, and a clearer map.

The June MegaDrop is coming on July 2. I’ll include extra Dutch hunk material as a bonus. PlayHunks is delayed again, and I’m sorry for that, but I’d rather be honest than pretend the timeline is perfect.

I’m also testing new video workflows. Some pieces are rough, but you may see them in the MegaDrop because experiments are part of the archive too.
